Ian studied his BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy at the University of Wales, College of Medicine and Qualified in 2005 and is a Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and HCPC registered.
Ian is currently doing his MSc in Advanced clinical Practice at Cardiff University.
Specialism - Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedics, Sports Injuries, Complex Knee Reconstruction Rehab.
Ian originates from our neighbouring county of Carmarthenshire, where since graduating he has worked within the NHS.
Prior to his current role as Lead Physiotherapist within the local A&E / Same Day Emergency Care Department, Ian was the Senior and Lead Physiotherapist in the MSK Outpatient Service before he then became the Senior T&O / MSK and Operational Lead in the Community Service.
With a strong interest in sport and a many years of MSK experience in acute (sport) injury management and rehab, he has worked alongside many semi & professional sports teams and individuals over the years. Ian is currently the Medical Lead for Narberth RFC.
Ian works with Physiofit on a part-time basis offering Advanced & Elite Sports Physiotherapy, MSK, T&O and Post Operative Rehabilitation.
With such a keen interest in sports, Ian enjoys mixed martial arts, strength & conditioning and spends most of his time outdoors amongst the sun, sea, sand & surf!
